Navajo Brethren in Christ Mission

In August we celebrated the 70th anniversary of Navajo BIC Mission. It's been quite a journey since the Nicholson family braved the harsh winters of the high desert plains of Northwest New Mexico to begin laying the ground work for the mission.
They were joined by Rosa Eyster, John Peter Yazzie and Fanny Scott, all of whom served faithfully for many years.
The mission has seen many changes over the years—changes that were necessary to stay in step with the surrounding community.
Today, Navajo BIC Mission is one of the few missions still operating in New Mexico and if the Lord tarries we hope to continue spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ for the next 70 years and more!
We are so grateful for the many people who have had a part in the vision of NBICM. Families, individuals, teams and many in the local community have made this mission what it is today—an oasis of Living Water in the middle of a beautiful desert.
